Suitable for both commercial and large-scale domestic use, the Handy THSSALT is a quick and efficient way to de-ice paths, driveways, forecourts and other areas where it's important slip-hazard is eliminated through the winter period.
It might be Handy's largest salt-spreader, but it's nevertheless easy to push, with its sizeable, wide-profile pneumatic tyres (35.5cm-diameter) ensuring you'll have no trouble propelling it across rough or undulating ground.
The Handy THSSALT 57kg Salt Spreader features a conveniently-positioned handlebar-mounted adjuster that facilitates precision setting of the spread-rate.
A heavy-duty reinforced transmission means it will cope with the rigours of intensive large-area use; while Handy's provision of adjustable deflectors lets you quickly switch from pathway to open-space work.
In addition to ice-melts and processed salts, this model can be used during the growing season for the application of granular fertiliser.
Included in the package is a hopper-screen that prevents performance-inhibiting clogging; and a hopper-cover that will keep the contents dry and enable you to continue work should it start to rain.

Standard Delivery
Standard delivery is on those items that can be delivered by one person, and costs £5.95. This is free if you spend £60 or more. Delivery will take between 2 - 3 working days for in-stock items, and your item will be delivered by either DPD or Fedex. If you have any special delivery instructions, these can be left as notes during the checkout process.
Please be aware that we do not offer free returns, so unless there is a fault with your item, then you will be required to cover the cost of returning it to us, or for us to collect the item.
Click & Collect In-Store
Click and Collect is free, and is available on most of our non-furniture items, although please note that some exceptions do apply. If the product qualifies, then the option will be offered during the checkout, after you have entered your billing details.
