Downtown Store Grantham

Furniture Sales Assistants

Every day our customers are inspired by a range of quality products and services offered at our Downtown Store Grantham.  Our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to their needs.  

We are seeking a number of Sales Assistants working varying contracted hours to join our ground-floor furniture departments on a part-time basis.

These engaging roles include the opportunity to earn performance-based commission for your excellent customer service selling Lounge, Dining and Flooring products, building rapport with customers, and delivering expert product recommendations to maximise sales opportunities.  You will also undertake general housekeeping within your area and till work, as required. 

You will be at an advantage if you have relevant retail experience.  This is not essential, and training will be provided as required.

Hours are 27, 24 or 12 per week usually worked over between two and four days a week during store opening times, including weekends.  Flexibility is key and you should be occasionally available to work varying shift patterns and differing days if required.

Cleaning Assistant

The cleanliness and sanitisation of our stores, offices and workspaces has never been more important.  We strive to maintain excellent standards of hygiene and immaculate displays of our products for the benefit of customers and staff alike.

We are seeking a Cleaning Assistant to ensure high standards of presentation across our Downtown Grantham site, usually working morning shifts from 7.30am on three or four days a week.

Duties include preparing both the Downtown Grantham and Downtown Garden Centre stores for trading ahead of opening, maintaining cleanliness of lobbies, entrances, toilets and restaurants across the whole site, as well as routine sanitisation of touchpoints and seating areas.  Ad hoc tasks such as tidying and cleaning up spillages will also be required.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable and able to communicate effectively as part of a small, close-knit team.  Applicants would be at an advantage if they have relevant cleaning experience. 

Hours are 10.5 per week in total, although there may be a requirement to occasionally cover holidays and absence during store opening times.  Flexibility is key and you should be available to work varying days and additional hours if required.

Sales Assistant

Every day our customers are inspired by a range of quality products and services offered at our Downtown Boston store.  Our aim is to provide each customer with an exceptional service that complements our extensive product range and caters individually to each customer’s needs.  

To play a key role in helping us sell our fantastic products at our Downtown Boston store, we are seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to join our Sales team working on both our fashion department and on our busy tills. 

This varied and engaging role will focus on offering an excellent customer service in a busy environment, building rapport with customers, and delivering expert product recommendations on a range of products to maximise sales opportunities.

You must have great people skills and be passionate about offering customers a superb experience.  Previous experience working within retail or in a similar sales role would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. 

Hours are 24 per week usually worked during store opening times on four days out of seven including weekends.  A flexible approach to working days and times is required and you should be available to work varying days and additional hours if required.

By when should I apply?

We review applications as we receive them, and we interview as soon as we have applicants we think are a good match.  You should therefore apply at your earliest convenience to avoid missing out.


Can I apply for more than one vacancy?
