Gardena Water Control Select Timer

The GARDENA Water Control Select takes care of watering your plants fully automatically. Automatic watering is a great help for garden or balcony maintenance, especially if you are away a lot or want to make your day more flexible. The Water Control Select is connected directly to the water tap and then your GARDENA hose is also attached, which leads to the garden areas needing water. You can use it, for example, to connect a sprinkler, a Micro-Drip drip irrigation or an underground sprinkler system.

It's possible to set up to three different watering schedules on the detachable control panel. Just programme the start time, watering duration and weekdays for each programme using the large, intuitive setting button. Each programme can be set for a watering duration from 1 minute to 7 hours and 59 minutes. The three programmes are visible on the LCD display. Various useful functions of Water Control Select make it even easier for you, for example, a screen lock prevents you from accidentally changing a setting. If you only need a bucket of water, you can get water directly from Water Control Select thanks to the Water Now function.

The Safe-Stop technology ensures that the next watering session is not started if the battery level is too low. This way the water flow never runs uncontrolled. In addition, a Soil Moisture Sensor can be connected to Water Control Select - this is practical if you want to water the garden as efficiently as possible. If the Soil Moisture Sensor indicates that the soil is still damp, Water Control Select skips the next watering cycle. This ensures that watering only takes place when it is necessary.

• Using a GARDENA Water Control, your garden can be reliably and conveniently watered ? even if you are not at home. Resulting in more leisure time, a lush green lawn and beautiful, healthy plants. If the automatic irrigation system is started in the early morning hours or the evenings, less water evaporates. This saves money and ensures targeted, optimised irrigation.
• The Water Control can easily be adjusted using a rotary and push switch for selection of the data and for confirmation. An easily-legible LC display shows all settings at a glance. The weatherproof operating unit can be removed to carry out the settings. Thanks to an optional key lock, inadvertent adjustment of the settings can be prevented.
• Three different and independent schedules can be created for the irrigation system. The start, duration and weekdays of the irrigation can be adjusted. Highly flexible plans can be set according to your personal tastes. Plant connoisseurs use this for example for additional pre-watering which prepares the soil and roots for the later, main irrigation. This improves the water absorption and plant growth.
• If the irrigation has to be started immediately, this can be manually activated without removing the unit from the tap or changing the settings.
• The Water Control always works reliably due to the 'Safe Stop' technology. If the energy levels of the battery are too low to completely control an irrigation process, then this process is not commence. The battery level indication in the display also tells you when the battery has to be replaced.
• On connection of the GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor, the automatic irrigation is not activated if the soil moisture is sufficient. This permits an improved water supply for plants as well as water-saving irrigation.

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery is on those items that can be delivered by one person, and costs £5.95. This is free if you spend £60 or more. Delivery will take between 2 - 3  working days for in-stock items, and your item will be delivered by either DPD or Fedex. If you have any special delivery instructions, these can be left as notes during the checkout process. 

Please be aware that we do not offer free returns, so unless there is a fault with your item, then you will be required to cover the cost of returning it to us, or for us to collect the item.

Click & Collect In-Store

Click and Collect is free, and is available on most of our non-furniture items, although please note that some exceptions do apply. If the product qualifies, then the option will be offered during the checkout, after you have entered your billing details.
