Across our range we have mattresses to suit all requirements from memory foam mattresses to pocket sprung. What’s your preferred firmness level? We have firm, soft, medium and extra firm mattresses so we are confident that we can find you the right match, whatever your needs. For complete peace of mind, many of our mattresses also come with a 10 year guarantee. Mattress firmness or tension is a personal choice and largely depends on your sleeping position and size. A common rule is that the same mattress can actually feel different for different sized people. Heavier people will generally require more support than others, and the bigger the mattress, the softer it will feel. If you are looking for that extra-soft feel, a mattress topper is a great choice for adding that extra layer of softness even on a firm mattress.

There are a number of mattress types available to choose from, including coil sprung and memory foam. Spring mattresses are among the most frequently purchased as they are fairly inexpensive, they are also rather firm as they are held together by a wire so that they retain their shape. However coil springs do provide less support. A pocket sprung mattress provides more support as they respond to body weight differently based on your individual needs. The springs in the fabric pockets keep the mattress more firm.

Purchasing a mattress is a big decision, and our ultimate goal is to get you sleeping better, with a great night's sleep every time. With so many different mattress tensions, types and sizes to choose from; we appreciate it can be an overwhelming task. That's why we want to make your journey as smooth as possible.

We split our mattresses into sprung, memory foam and TEMPUR, so that you can reach what you want quickly and easily. Where possible we will aim to include any tension or spring information as possible so that you can make an informed decision.

Please note that pocket sprung mattresses must not be used with a base for which they are not designed. Slats on a bed frame should be no less than 70mm apart, to ensure the mattress receives adequate support. Failure to use an adequate base could invalidate the warranty from the manufacturer.
