**This greenhouse has a small lip around the bottom designed to lip over the Elite Base Plinth or a customer built raised plinth - without the Elite Base Plinth this lip will need to be accommodated - timber baton/bricks/blocks are all suitable**

The elegant and timeless designs of the 4ft wide Kensington, which we can manufacture to any length and can powder coat in any of Elite's fabulous colours, offer many of the features found in Elite's Core Series of greenhouses and allow you a way of connecting your garden to the comforts and convenience of your home.

Choose from 3 Glazing Options:

• Polycarbonate - UVI treated, twin wall with silvered edges and, like the toughened safety glass, it comes in full sheets and is a great option where children and pets are concerned. Elite offer 6mm thick on every model with the exception of the iGro which is 4mm.
• Toughened Safety Glass - In the event of a breakage, the glass granulates removing any danger of injury. Elite only use Grade A toughened glass to Standard EN12150 which is primarily in full length sheets providing a neater finish, especially with bar capping, and removes any overlapping glass where algae and moss can often be a problem.
• Horticultural Glass - Available in 3mm thick overlapping glass sheets

You can choose to upgrade the plain Aluminium frame to a Powder Coated finish:

• High class, hard wearing, professional powder coated finish
• Available in several attractive colours - Green, Graphite, Black, White, Brown, Stone, Olive, Berry, Navy and Mocha
• Co-ordinate with your garden environment
• Has been thoroughly tried and tested and has been available to Elite customers for over 20 years
• Environmentally friendly way of applying colour to aluminium unlike wet paint which requires the use of solvents
• Most aluminium accessories can also be powder coated to suit your greenhouse
• A good depth of colour
• The frame is resistant to corrosion, UV degradation and offers a life expectancy in excess of 25 years

Items that are sent using our Large Direct Service, are delivered direct from our suppliers, to you.

Delivery is FREE for this postage method. The details of what additional services are provided, can vary across the specific product type that is being ordered.  

Please be aware that we do not offer free returns, so unless there is a fault with your item, then you will be required to cover the cost of returning it to us, or for us to collect the item

The ideal base for the greenhouse would be:

i) Paving slabs to encourage natural drainage OR
ii) Solid concrete base to the size of the greenhouse with a minimum 4 inch thickness OR
iii) Concrete strip footing with a minimum 4 inch thickness
iiii) Dwarf wall can be built - heights to be advised

The base can be larger than the greenhouse if required by the customer but it must not be any smaller. Most importantly the base must be level.
